Potential role of anti-3S antibodies in an HIV medical cure strategy ?.

We anticipate that HIV cure strategy will need to focus on a combined approach associating antivirals and immunotherapy. We have identified and developed a vaccine which has distinct immune-protective properties. We hypothesize that vaccine-induced anti-3S antibodies can have a key role in a multi-therapeutic approach to cure HIV. 3S antibodies will allow to shield the immune system and reconstruct physiologic immune homeostasis.
